The Paralympic Ball is the first ever fundraising entertainment show to celebrate Paralympians and to raise funds for the British Paralympic Association & the Agitos Foundation.
The event will build on the momentum that the London 2012 Paralympic Games has provided to showcase Paralympic sport like never before and support the athletes of the future.
Special Guests will include Paralympians & celebrity supporters of the BPA & the IPC.
As the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain, it's the British Paralympic Association’s (BPA) responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the Paralympic Games, ParalympicsGB. Alongside this the BPA has an interest in the development of disability sport within the UK from grassroots to elite level. We recognise that in order to select the best team of athletes, it’s crucial that grassroot sport is supported and people with a disability are given the opportunity to participate in sport at all levels. By helping us prepare the best team of athletes possible for the Games, you will be helping to inspire people with a disability to take up sport and reap the benefits of an active life, increasing the number of athletes developing to elite level.
The Agitos Foundation was created by the International Paralympic Committee to strengthen its athlete development and education programmes. It aspires to develop Parasport, change lives and act as a catalyst for development, awareness, education, advocacy and inclusion for people around the world.
